...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM PST FRIDAY THROUGH

Synopsis: Winds will remain below small craft advisory criteria through Tuesday, with the exception of Friday evening south of Cape Blanco. However, seas will build beginning tonight as the first of several long period northwest swell trains moves into the waters. Seas of 10 to 13 feet at 13 to 17 seconds are expected Friday morning through Sunday night. A cold front will move onshore Sunday, followed by another one Monday. More disturbances will follow into Tuesday.

NE wind 5 to 15 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. W swell 4 to 5 ft at 16 seconds.
Friday
N wind 10 to 20 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less... Becoming 3 to 4 ft in the afternoon. Mixed swell W 7 to 8 ft at 18 seconds and NW 5 to 6 ft at 13 seconds... Building to 11 to 12 ft at 17 seconds in the afternoon.
Friday Night
N wind 10 to 20 kt. Wind waves 3 to 4 ft. W swell 10 to 12 ft at 16 seconds.
Saturday
NE wind 5 kt except NE 10 to 15 kt Cape arago southward. Wind waves 3 ft in the morning... Becoming 2 ft or less. W swell 10 ft.
Saturday Night
N wind 10 to 15 kt...becoming NE 5 kt after midnight. Wind waves 2 ft or less. W swell 10 to 11 ft. Chance of rain through the night.
Sunday
S wind 5 kt...backing to N in the afternoon. Wind waves 2 ft or less. NW swell 11 to 12 ft. Chance of rain.
Sunday Night
N wind 5 to 10 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. NW swell 11 to 12 ft. Chance of rain.
Monday
N wind 10 kt...backing to NW. Wind waves 2 ft or less... Becoming 3 ft in the afternoon and evening, then...becoming 2 ft or less after midnight. NW swell 11 ft.
Tuesday
NE wind 10 kt...veering to E in the afternoon, then... Veering to SE in the evening...backing to NE after midnight. Wind waves 2 ft or less...becoming 3 ft after midnight. NW swell 11 ft...subsiding to 9 ft.
