...HAZARDOUS SEAS WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH

Synopsis: High pressure northwest of the waters and a weak thermal trough along the coast will persist into Friday, with lingering steep seas and some gusty north winds. The thermal trough will strengthen again late Friday afternoon through Monday and is expected to bring steep to very steep seas and the potential for gale force winds across portions of the waters south of Cape Blanco.

N wind 10 to 15 kt. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. NW swell 3 to 4 ft at 10 seconds.
Friday
N wind 15 to 20 kt...rising to 20 to 25 kt late in the afternoon. Wind waves 4 to 5 ft...building to 5 to 7 ft in the afternoon. NW swell 3 to 4 ft at 9 seconds.

N wind 20 to 25 kt. Wind waves 6 to 8 ft. NW swell 2 to 3 ft at 9 seconds.
Saturday
N wind 15 to 25 kt. Wind waves 5 to 7 ft. Mixed swell NW 2 ft and SW 1 ft.
