Synopsis: A cold front will move through the waters today with a period of gusty southerly winds shifting to northwest along with a period of moderate rainfall. Winds should briefly approach small craft advisory criteria across most areas as the front moves through. This front will be followed by building west-northwest swell Monday. Winds and seas should build to gale and hazardous seas warning levels Tuesday into Wednesday as strong front moves in.

S wind 10 to 20 kt...veering to NW 15 to 20 kt in the afternoon. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. W swell 7 to 8 ft at 12 seconds...subsiding to 6 ft at 12 seconds in the afternoon. Rain.
N wind 10 to 15 kt. Wind waves 3 to 4 ft. NW swell 6 to 7 ft at 13 seconds...shifting to the W 8 ft at 12 seconds after midnight. Rain in the evening, then chance of showers after midnight.
N wind 10 kt...backing to S in the afternoon. Wind waves 3 ft in the morning...becoming 2 ft or less. Swell W 8 to 9 ft at 12 seconds. Slight chance of showers through the day.
Monday Night
S wind 5 to 15 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. W swell 7 to 8 ft...subsiding to 6 ft after midnight.
SE wind 5 to 10 kt...veering to S 10 to 20 kt in the afternoon. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. Swell W 4 to 5 ft.
Tuesday Night
S wind 10 to 15 kt except S 10 to 20 kt Cape arago southward. Wind waves 7 to 10 ft. Swell W 7 ft...building to SW 10 to 11 ft after midnight. Rain.
S wind 30 kt...easing to 15 to 20 kt. Wind waves 10 to 11 ft...subsiding to 5 to 6 ft. Swell SW 8 ft and W 8 ft... Shifting to the W 8 ft and SW 8 ft.
SE wind 15 to 20 kt...veering to S 25 kt in the evening, then...becoming SW 15 kt after midnight. Wind waves 3 ft... Building to 5 ft in the afternoon, then...building to 7 ft in the evening...subsiding to 4 ft after midnight. Swell W 8 ft and S 7 ft... Shifting to the S 9 ft and W 5 ft.
