...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON...

Synopsis: Gusty north winds and steep wind driven seas will continue over much of the waters today. A slight improvement in winds and seas is expected by this evening and tonight, but expect small craft advisory level winds and steep seas to continue for areas south of Cape Blanco through Monday. Winds and seas increase again late Monday with gusty north winds and a mix of steep to very steep seas expected across the waters south of Cape Blanco. As the thermal trough strengthens, winds and seas will increase further Tuesday and Wednesday with gales possible from Gold Beach south.

N wind 10 to 20 kt...easing to 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Wind waves 3 to 4 ft. Mixed swell W 1 to 2 ft at 8 seconds and S 1 ft at 15 seconds. Slight chance of drizzle in the evening. Chance of drizzle after midnight.
Monday
N wind 10 to 15 kt. Wind waves 3 to 4 ft. NW swell 3 to 4 ft at 12 seconds.
Monday Night
N wind 15 kt. Wind waves 3 ft. NW swell 6 ft at 11 seconds.
Tuesday
N wind 10 to 20 kt...rising to 15 to 25 kt in the afternoon. Wind waves 3 to 4 ft. NW swell 6 to 7 ft.
Tuesday Night
N wind 20 to 25 kt...easing to 15 to 20 kt after midnight. Wind waves 5 to 6 ft. NW swell 5 to 6 ft.
Wednesday
N wind 15 to 20 kt. Wind waves 4 to 6 ft. NW swell 2 to 4 ft.
Wednesday Night
N wind 15 to 20 kt...easing to 10 kt after midnight. Wind waves 4 to 5 ft. NW swell 3 to 4 ft.
Thursday
N wind 10 kt...becoming 10 to 15 kt. Wind waves 3 ft in the morning...becoming 2 ft or less, then... Becoming 4 ft in the evening...becoming 2 ft or less. NW swell 3 ft...building to W 5 ft.

NE wind 10 kt...backing to N. Wind waves 2 ft or less... Becoming 3 to 4 ft. W swell 4 ft.
