...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE SATURDAY NIGHT...
Synopsis: A thermal trough will strengthen near the coast beginning this afternoon and continuing into at least Saturday. Gusty north winds and steep seas will develop Thursday afternoon into the weekend, with afternoon and evening gales likely south of Cape Blanco Friday and Saturday, and possibly through Sunday. Conditions will briefly improve early next week as the thermal trough weakens.

N wind 15 to 20 kt. Wind waves 3 to 4 ft. NW swell 5 to 6 ft at 12 seconds. Patchy fog in the morning.
Tonight
N wind 15 to 20 kt. Wind waves 3 to 4 ft. Mixed swell NW 4 ft at 11 seconds and NW 2 ft at 8 seconds.
Friday
N wind 15 to 20 kt. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. NW swell 3 to 4 ft at 10 seconds.
Friday Night
N wind 20 to 25 kt. Wind waves 5 to 6 ft. Mixed swell NW 3 to 4 ft and S 2 ft.
Saturday
N wind 15 to 25 kt. Wind waves 4 to 6 ft. Mixed swell NW 3 to 4 ft and S 2 ft.
Saturday Night
N wind 20 to 25 kt. Wind waves 5 to 7 ft. NW swell 3 to 4 ft.
Sunday
N wind 15 to 20 kt. Wind waves 5 to 6 ft. Mixed swell NW 4 ft and S 2 ft.
Monday
NW wind 10 to 15 kt. Wind waves 3 ft in the morning... Becoming 2 ft or less, then...becoming 3 ft. NW swell 5 ft.
